I graduated from Kuen Cheng High School and immediately joined Shiseido for a period of six years. I began my career as a beauty consultant, receiving training to become a makeup artist and was promoted to the position of trainer. Following that, I accepted an offer as a makeup specialist for Chanel, then ventured into the jewellery business, all the while searching for the meaning of life.
After ending my jewellery business, I traveled for two years during which I worked free lance for the commercial advertising industry. I also gained experience in filming and coached children in tennis.
A close friend invited me to volunteer for Kechara’s first stage show “The Legend of the Conch Shell”. From that point onwards, I began to volunteer more of my time at Kechara, fixing Vajrayogini’s pearl skirt, joining Kechara Soup Kitchen’s food distribution rounds, designing pendants, and more.
I also attended His Eminence the 25th Tsem Rinpoche’s teachings and was inspired. Rinpoche’s quote “If not now, when?” made me realise it was time to become more involved. On 6 July 2011, I decided to join Kechara full-time and was offered a position in Kechara Blooms, providing floral arrangements. This is a position I have held until today.
