The last week has seen plenty of good news for both the Liaisons Council and the two new Liaisons who have just been elected in!
Han Siew Fong, who heads Kechara InMotion and Irene Lim, head of Kechara Oasis were just voted into the council as Apprentice Liaisons. The two ladies have already been very dedicated to their Dharma work and have served for many, many months as heads of their respective departments.
Now, as part of the Liaisons’ Council, they take the next step to making not just their own departments grow but also to play a direct role in the manifestation of Tsem Kachö Ling and His Eminence Tsem Tulku Rinpoche’s vision.
As one of Rinpoche’s most senior students, Irene has known Rinpoche since the first time he came to Malaysia in 1992. She has been a very devoted student ever since, accomplishing many projects through the years.
Irene recently started Kechara Oasis last year under Rinpoche’s guidance and advice. She had never had any experience in the food industry but with great faith and determination, she single-handedly opened up the restaurant and is now thinking of expanding to a second branch! Irene truly shows us how much can be accomplished if we just believe in ourselves and live with great tenacity.
Ms Han, a very succesful and highly accomplished TV producer also brings with her a wealth of experience. Having done many high profile TV shows, including Fear Factor, Ms Han has the world at her feet. However, she is now preparing to join the Dharma full time, to dedicate her skills, expertise and resources to share Dharma with the world through film and videos.
We are very excited to have both Ms Han and Irene on board the Liaisons Council and look forward to working even more closely with them now. Please join us as we congratulate them and wish them all the very best in their spiritual work and practice! See you in TKL!
