even if one can not go to attend the teaching for guru's advise on concern of empowerment matter.

one can go to the event to make donation money to H.H Dalai Lama and leave without empowerment, this is to support His Holiness in his dharma activities.  I hope this is not wrong that against advise from one's guru on the empowerment matter. right?

6  General Category / General Discussion / Re: Teacher qualification on: June 12, 2009, 05:39:21 AM
spiritnoname, if tulku's purpose of reincarnation back is not to be a teacher/practitioners again in your first line of statement. Why do they come back? I am sure not for movie  or pop-corn or other samsara's enjoyment.

lama tsong khapa's definately qualify to reincarnate back, why does he chosen not to?

Maybe he is planing to abolish the  tulku / reincarnation linage system in Tibetan Buddhism? and that is why he set up the Gaden Tripa for Gelug tradition.

At first I accept that he simply is already a buddha and goes to Tushita. But, I don't think so now, because the tulku system does have something that Lama Tsong Khapa have in mind, but didn't says ( or he  said, we didn't have the chance to read what his view on this.)

14  Dharma / Dharma Talk Discussion / Re: Buddha Statues' Iconography on: June 08, 2009, 10:08:59 AM
I guess, when rinpoche says, that when we bow to Buddha statues not a wall, we collect merits and purify karma.  which he stressed that cleaning of Buddha statues as compare to a wall. Maybe cleaning a Buddha statue also have the same effect like bow down to Buddha statues?
