Just wondering what the progress is with TKL. Is it built already? If not, what stage of building (if at all) are you in, and can I make donations to help with the construction?

Hi Zenji, They recently put up a sign to announce the proposed building of the retreat centre , for people to object if any. You can start your donation via paypal on the Kechara website Best Wishes |

Can someone tell me how to add pictures? of anything... I was going to put up the TKL pics for everyone... and I realized I don't know how to add pics to a forum post

And I just got everything together to make my first donation in January. This saddens me, and I pray that this decision is not for long.
Beyond what's already been mentioned, do we know specifics as to why the committee was dissolved?

When i first read that i though 'oh! thats terrible news' then i realised that things rarely run smoothly or go exactly as we want. People aren't perfect, things can go wrong. What matters is where we go from here, for myself i can't believe anything with as much potential as TKL cannot come about in some form or other. We should take the long view, in three to five years more funds will have been raised and there will be more students and followers to help at what ever level they can, be it with donations, organising or digging out the foundations etc. Jon |

Rinpoche always has a reason to do whatever he is doing. Sometime people need to request again or they have done certain things in a certain manner and they need to change . There are always obstacles with regards to something of such benefit and magnitude.

For those of us who are students of His Eminence, keep your samaya clean with him. Any practice he has requested you to do please do it. Especially one's preliminary , through preparing ourselves through preliminaries we are creating the causes for us to receive the higher teachings or practices , to what end , hence the lama has a purpose to carry on. If we do not create that cause the lama will pass on earlier and take another rebirth , where he can be of more benefit .
