I don't remember what the rules are and don't want to read them right now so I'll take your word for it Tongue

I'm not vegetarian myself, I'm aware it's hypocritical, but almost all the time other people cook or buy my food and I'm not going to refuse it knowing the animal wasn't killed specifically for me, nor am I going to refuse cooking meat for my teacher who really needs it for medical reasons as well as to fulfill vows.

i agree with eating meat. we r animals....but i don't agree with KFC (and many many many many many others) and the way they ''treate the meat'' meaning they create great pain to animls etc. if y want to kill them, then kill them fast!
i m very sorry for them and the animals they harm, but i don't have wtd instead just observing...

Oh, you're a such a noble person. I'm sure that every animal sentient being mother would be happy to see their children served on your plate,  as long as they are killed fast of course. In a way you are doing them a favor. Consider all those small insects that would be digested with plants during the lives of that animals. That would create a great suffering of insect mother beings, as well as terrible bad karma for animal. You are really a kind being. Probably even a great Bodhisattva.  Grin

Hi guys,

Just to let you know in case you're unfamiliar with the procedure that this thread is part of the One-on-One debate, wherby one person offers their position on any subject and another takes up the opposite position.  The "winner" is the person whose last post remains unchallenged for 24 hours, but there should no no contributions from other members, although of course you're free to post for open debate elsewhere.

You can find the protocols on the main debate board.  In this case, the debate was between myself and Eric Radcliffe, and ended some time ago.

Kind regards,
Sandy Smiley
