You guys ever notice the craving that causes rebirth?
I noticed it first a few years ago particularly when I was directing my mind to the countless generations of human beings that have lived and died. Also sometimes when I see people I notice this feeling deep in my mind that from the surface would be mistaken for lust, but it seems to be more like I'm picking out bodies I like for my next birth. It seems like it would be a good thing, but I dunno. I don't want to  be born again. Before I die I need to make a decision about where I'm going next, I'm not sure if I should cut out this cause of rebirth yet

I totally know what you mean, in my own personal way. It's hard to describe things like that, so kudos for giving it a try, putting those feelings into words. I notice it mostly in a much more mundane or average sort of way. I notice it in the Cheese I eat and the Milk I drink and the Butter and the Eggs I consume. All of these products require birthing procedures to produce including Milk being acquired only from a mother cow who must continue Calving new babies once a year to produce her Milk at all. This then is converted into the Dairy Products. This is my most prevalent reminder of the karma that I currently create which most certainly will include attachment to birth.

We need to hurry everyone, let's surprise Rinpoche, everybody attain enlightenment this week! That would be the best gift we could offer a Guru!  OK well... Realistically... Everybody don't skip any days of practicing Dharma. This is a 'mind offering' that we can accomplish FOR SURE that would more than please your Guru, but do try and go for full enlightenment, he will be happier for sure!

craving to not be reborn is also a trap.

looks like you're having a real life investigation of the 12 dependent originations.

Heruka's 12 majestic arms shows us the purified 12 dependent origins, the steps to attaining birthlessness. Although you'll probably need to be initiated in his lineage to reap the full benefits.
