Hmm,.. well Tibetan sources don't talk about the winds openly in detail because a lot of their use of winds is directly tied up in HYT and there are ways to do it wrong , but if you listen to teachings from Forest Tradition Theravedas or read their texts they'll talk about it at the breath energy or the kasina of air or the elements. Ivy, if you do reiki, then you pretty much got it, that's the wind energy generally speaking, but the wind energy can have all sorts of variations and to manipulate it is mainly a matter of exerting a mental fabrication.
Thanissaro Bhikkhu talks about this all the time and you can find writings and recordings of his online, tons of them.

Hmm, well I know next to nothing about Reiki, but my mom does, so I'll ask her...
Currently I'm reading a book by Ajaan Lee Dhammadaro where he gives methods of moving the breath to different stations to purify the blood and healing.... is that like what you were talking about.
I'll have to check out Thanissaro Bhiku's writings:)
I hang around at a forest temple, but between the big language barrier, and my social anxiety, I have a hard time asking questions...

Yep, that's the winds.
There's a lot that could be taught about the winds, specifics about the kinds and directions, but for general people just noticing them, experimenting, becomes a handy tool for meditation and health.

If everyone knew about this, we wouldnt need babiturates and antidepressants. This can simulate those effects easily.
