it's not? Praise the Lord (Buddha)! May all the conditions arise for me to come in contact with, learn, perfect, practice, and accomplish all the aims of the Buddha Dharma without tiring and no matter the obstacles or requirements in my path. Om Ah Ra Pa Tza Na Dhi I've already told you how on MSN. Just praying for it and doing nothing is useless. Praying is doing something.

Here's a link to the Burmese and their love for their monks and their monks' love for them. I think they're all wonderful. http://tinyurl.com/2ce7rwNow please, let's stop fussing at one another - we can always do that later. Now is the time to pray and send light and whatever else we can do.

Bless them all. I would walk with them if I could. My thoughts are with the safety of all.

I was particularly moved by a report of the monks asking the people NOT to join their march - presumably that the monks would take the hits and spare the people.
Send out your wishes, chant your mantras - that's the best we, as solitary individuals, can do right now.
These men are magnificent.

my dad's against the whole thing because the initial reports was that the monks burned cars. But you really have to support the monks because they are sacrificing their reputation for the people. Imagine the traditionalists who criticize their actions with their "monks should not be involved in politics" expectation.

Haha, I actually have prayed instead of studied before, I forget what I got exactly on the test, it was a long time ago, but I think I passed.

Along with their reputation they're risking their precious human bodies...and a few of them have lost....I hope that, behind the scenes, China is being told to expect cancellation of the Olympics if something truly hideous goes down....China seems to be the only entity capable of containing this storm.

It's like kids fighting over sand castles that are going to be destroyed when the tide comes in anyways. Whether or not the monks succeed, there are going to be a lot fewer monks when this is over.
