A good friend informed me that there is a documentary on National Geographic called 
Light At The Edge Of The World: The Science Of The Mind. This is a story of Wade Davis, National Geographic Explorer's journey to Nepal and Mount Everest in his quest to understand the sacred teachings of Tibetan Buddhism.
