Hi Hi, Hope everybody is feeling great, despite the gloomy overcast sky outside my office window. I really hope this forum works out. It is people who drives the forum. People should just write in and give their 2 cents worth. Don't be shy or afraid of appearing silly or sounding like an idiot. Hey, 50% of the people in the world are idiots. The rest of the 50% are morons (oops..except Guru ). See, that is my 2 cents worth for today . Cheers, Nancy

Hi All, I am relatively new to the teachings of Rinpoche, and thrilled to find this forum. I may not post alot to begin with, spending more time absorbing, but I hope to become quite an active member in time. I live in Ireland and have a dear friend who downloads the wonderful teachings of Rinpoche onto disc for me until I get broadband. Thank you to those who put in the work to set this up and who will be tending to it!

Hi Opurple I've been downloading the teachings onto an mp3 player and can fit about 20 hours onto it and have been listening to them at work. Have to stop myself from saying "why like that" when something does'nt go to plan lol. Jon

Hi Opurple, Hi Jon, Hi Everybody, Isn't it great to be able to download Guru's teachings and to be able to view and/or listen to them wherever and whenever we like. Its also a very cool way to share and spread the dharma. I was watching Guru's "Welcome" video on my iPOD when my colleague walked by. Wanted to know why I was laughing so hard. She watched the video and probably she is also saying "why like that?" in her mind. But since then, she too has been watching Guru's teachings over the net and also sharing with others too. Now isn't that GREAT .

Just wanted to say hello to everyone and to thank everyone involved not just in setting up the forum but in making Rinpoche's teachings available to us all around the world. This includes Rinpoche himself for giving permission for his teachings to be broadcast, what a wonderful way to bring the dharma to individuals like myself who do not have immediate access to a Sangha in the UK.
The forum is a wonderful way for everyone to get to know each other and I look forward to some interesting discussions in the future.
Take care, Fiona

Hello! I learned of Tsem Rinpoche quite by accident at Phayul.com. I was amazed to find a recognized Tulku who speaks english and has such a way about him. Very plain speaking. Anywho, the forum at Phayul is closed. The Buddhist message board there was the best, despite all of the flamers. I still recommend the site for its articles and news about the Tib refugee community and more. Maybe this forum can be a new home for my rambling disconnectedness! So, my best wishes to all here. Let's have some fun! Your Friend, T
