Dear All,

Kechara House will be celebrating Lama Day Tsongkhapa Day on the 4th of December . Look forward to see you all there to participate in the 'Festival of Lights' .
The phrase 'Festival of Lights'  and this is strictly my interpretation, that in many places around the world where Lama Tsongkhapa teachings is revered and flourish , many spiritual practitioners celebrate this auspicious occasion by having thousands of candle offerings at centers or temples across the globe. .

Lama Tsongkhapa's teachings are like light dispelling the darkness in our minds. Hence the offering of the candle is symbolic of Lama Tsongkhapa's greatest gift to all of us. So do join us in commemorating this great beings life and teachings with many many offering of candles.

The organizing committee for the Lama Tsongkhapa Day had been set up . We will keep you all informed about the details of the Celebration in the coming weeks, via email or sms.

Best Wishes
Wai Meng

Thank, Weapons of Mass Wonder!  My link to Guru Tsongkhapa is via an early 19th Century statue, much loved.  I shall see to it that the rupa is especially honored on 12/4.

Dear Kechara team,

Please provide a schedule or timetable of the events that is going to take place on that auspicious day.

Questions regarding the celebration at Kechara House:

1. Is the event going to be held here?

Lot 41 2a & 2b, Jalan PJU 1/3C,
Sunwaymas Commercial Center,
47301 Petaling Jaya,
Selangor, MALAYSIA.

2. Approximately how long will it take to walk from the Kelana Jaya LRT station to Kechara House?

Questions regarding Lama Tsongkhapa Day:

Can anyone just explain briefly all about this auspicious day please? What does it commemorate and symbolise, etc.

TQ.

1) yes

2) 30 minutes. If you want, we can walk together as my exam ends at 4pm.

Um, for that, you need to read Lama Tsongkhapa's biography, as provided by goat.

In observance of the Day, I have just sent money to KH for the purchase of monks' robes.  It seemed fitting, as there's no way I'll be able to attend your formal observance.

All be well,

Scott
