I like to imagine....

Our natural state,  our buddha state   is constantly trying to emerge.  Even beings in the lowest hells and states of rebirth will automatically go to a better state of existance once they exhaust the karmic forces that caused them to be reborn there in the first place.  Almost like a hot air ballon that naturally goes up and up .  However , along the journey to the clouds ,  we get baggages of anger , hatred,  ignorance ,  indifference  etc etc  that weighs down on our  ballon. Sometimes the baggages gets so heavy that we slowly descent .  Or sometimes we are kind of stuck, not going up nor down.  Sometimes we are really happy because we are slowy moving up, but then suddenly a big bag of anger comes along attaches itself to our ballon and  down we go again.  It''s almost as if this ballon is a magnet for negative baggage .  This might be a never ending yo-yo ride.   If we ever manage to rip off all these ugly baggages ,  buddhahood awaits us..

let's identify these ugly baggages !!

anger  ...... hatred ............ ignorance .......   jealousy......   ? ? ?
