I know probably people don't want to hear or read this and if not fine! But I just wanted to say that ever since I have made my shrine/alter and made offerings to well essentially all the Buddhas ( But I have statues of Avalokiteshvara and Green tara) that amazing things have happened! For once i thought that i had to pay 900 dollars for rent and it only turned out that i own 6 something and was only 100 something dollars off. Then my mother in law sys she will lend us the money! (If you know my mother in law like I do lets just say that she is very strict and doesn't think highly of me because of me being a  Buddhist ((she is a christian and I have no problem what so ever with her religion but anyway))) This is truly amazing and I felt I had to tell someone.

That is nice hehe.
You know, at first my family was skeptical about me being Buddhist, but over time they have started to respect it more and more, even they will pick up things for the shrine sometimes and for presents on holidays they ask me what I want and I tell them to get me copies of Buddhist texts and shrine things :p

When they see how you change over the years practicing Buddhism they will make up their mind about Buddhism.

That is so true! I officially became a Buddhist @ 19 ( I did 3 years of research and found  the religion and I "clicked" on so many levels. My mom found out and at first was against it but then she saw how I had and was still changing. I figure it is only time before my mother in law comes around. BTW I consider myself a beginning Buddhist because even there are things I am still learning (Like shrines and offerings) just adding this so as not to confuse anyone.... I do hope I am making sense.. hope things are well and thank you for reading and commenting!
