We are probably all reading different Dharma books and listening to various teachings.  I thought it would be beneficial to post here any little quotes or snippets of Dharma that really make an impact on your mind.

I am starting with one from Tsem Tulku Rinpoche that I have been trying to call to mind alot lately.  It has helped me to practice (albeit poorly  Sad ) when I did not feel like it, because I had been battered around by my karma and was angry with the world  Angry.  It is a small step and nothing for me to be pleased with but I can build on it and make this resolve stronger.

The last two are from Lama Yeshe and Lama Zopa.

Each time a physical or mental obstacle arises in your life and you continue to do your practice, a few things are happening:

1/  You're purifing the karma.  The things that's happening to you, you're purifying the karma.

2/  You're building your mental strength through any adversity - you will be able to see through it.

Tsem Tulku Rinpoche - Are You Afraid of Sars?

When you take refuge in the Buddha, Dharma and Sangha, you committ yourself primarily to steadying your karma.  This means that you should keep watch over the three doors of your body, speech and mind and maintain a balance in all your actions.  The method for accomplishing this is meditation.
&
When you are quiet inside, when you are the embodiment of inner peace, you are really learning, and it is easy to solve problems.  Without such peace, learning only agitates your emotions.
