hello people!
things are going very good here, I`we finally found a buddhist group here where I live, it`s from Karma Kagyu. I`m happy to see that buddhism starts to expand a little here in romania . now there is even  a retreat center in the country that I might visit.

John,
Its wonderful that you found a center that can further your practice. Rinpoche always mentions that if the center benefits you and especially there are resident lamas .  To be loyal and support the center, as the center grows so will you. That was Rinpoche's formula for the growth of Kechara : ).

if you choose a center, stick with it till the end. Then your practice will have results. It's like taking a degree course: you dont get the degree if you quit halfway

of course I will stick. originally I was looking for a Gelug center but I can`t be picky in this place; so after a bit of studying of what Kagyu is I`we noticed that it`s not such a big difference between them.

After watching so many teachings from TTR on why I should stick to a center I think I`we got it Smiley
