Spirituality Through Art

Spirituality Through Art Kechara Saraswati Arts

Founded in October 2006 by our Spiritual Guide H.E. Tsem Rinpoche, Kechara Saraswati Arts (KSA) is the first Tibetan Arts Studio in South-East Asian region. Named after their patron deity Saraswati, the Buddha of art, learning, knowledge, and wisdom, KSA’s mission is to bring people closer to spirituality and Buddhism through the arts.

KSA offers a wide range of services and activities including statue painting and restoration, thangka brocading, thangka painting, traditional beadwork, rolling of mantras and tsa tsa-making. These skills are also taught to KECHARA members and the public through popular classes led by skilled trainers. With the opening of Kechara Blooms, KSA has recently expanded to include a division offering floral arrangements for any event or occasion.

“Kechara Saraswati Arts’ mission to express our spirituality and bring Dharma to others through art. Through every single artwork may we plant the seeds of Enlightenment in everyone’s mind who comes across what we have done.”
– H.E. Tsem Rinpoche

Through years of training from established Tibetan artists, the dedicated staff and volunteers of Kechara Saraswati Arts preserve the heritage and traditional techniques of Tibetan Buddhist art in this region.
