As one of the “pioneers” in Malaysia who work full time for Dharma, I face the same challenges as the other Directors. We must continually strive to gain extra Dharma skills and knowledge to enhance and improve the organisation and ourselves, so the Kechara organisation will flourish and benefit others locally and worldwide

In May 2010, when I was introduced to the teachings of H.E. the 25th Tsem Rinpoche and began learning more about spirituality, I knew that Dharma was what I wanted to pursue. Witnessing Rinpoche’s compassion in action broke limitations I had unknowingly set on what one is able to do for others. The infamous phrase “Nothing changes, Everything changes” has become a journey that I experience daily

Born as a Buddhist/Taoist, spirituality was merely a concept applicable to wonderful and peaceful people, not me. Since being introduced to Kechara in early 2009 by my mother, Datuk May Phng, I was honoured to be elected to the Board of Directors in December 2009. I see this as a challenge to grow and be a stronger and better person, fulfilling our efforts to benefit many

I have always wanted to learn Dharma, as I believe I will find the answers I am looking for. Today, I serve Kechara as a Senior Manager and share Dharma with others to the best of my ability, keeping Rinpoche’s advice close to my heart: “Bringing Dharma to others is like giving water to someone who has not had water for a long time. Like an oasis in the desert”…
Liaisons Succession Plan
Liaisons are the personal assistants of our Spiritual Guide, H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche, and are committed to carry out his vision and plans. Decisions for the organisation are made by democratic vote at the Liaison Council under the guidance of His Eminence. The Kechara organisation is growing quickly and the Liaisons Council now has 20 members

For the last three years, I have done so many things which I previously disliked and refused to do. However in the process of accomplishing my work in Kechara, I have realised that there is no room for “like” and “dislike” when it comes to benefitting others. Thank you for giving me this opportunity to be on Kechara’s Board of Directors to do more to benefit people
